Crossdale 10K
This very enjoyable community event is held at Crossdale Primary School in Keyworth Nottingham. It is a very important source of fund raising that enhances the school’s resources and recently the proceeds have been used to improve the schools computer centre and environmental study area.
Crossdale 10K Trail
2009 will be the 10th anniversary of this popular event and we hope to mark this by making it the biggest and best yet. The race is organised to a professional level and we have a fully accredited UK athletics permit. We welcome entrants from seasoned competitors as well as first time runners to this event. The race fits well into the running calendar being two weeks after the Robin Hood Marathon and 3 months before the Keyworth Turkey Trot. The race is run over a picturesque multi-terrain course around the village of Keyworth in Nottinghamshire and has full consent and support of local landowners and the police.
Community Fun Run
The Fun Run is an equally successful race which caters for runners of all ages. Last year the theme of the fun run was charity and we raised £480 that was donated to The Friends Of Kadzinuni. This is a local charity that supports the children of Kadzinuni Primary School in Kenya and its rural community. We intend to support the same charity in 2009.
