Job Description

We are looking for self-motivated and well-organised individual to Co-ordinate and administrate the day to day running of this World class gymnastics academy.

The opportunity would be ideal for someone who can work efficiently and effectively within a small dynamic team with the flexibility to adapt to various situations.

 

To coordinate day to day the NGA club liaising between the Executive Committee, the Senior Coaching team, welfare officers, parents Committee and external partnerships.

 

To assist the NGA Senior Coaching Team to deliver a high quality gymnastics experience and agreed performance outcomes across designated disciplines, to develop and help implement the NGA's vision, aims and values; to contribute to an overall improvement of participation at all levels across all levels of gymnastics. To maintain controls and general administration for the centre.

Job Description

Sported is looking for a regional manager to set up and run its services in the East Midlands. Your first priority will be to identify Mentors and to map out community sports provision in the region, identifying potential partners, local funders and existing networks. You will assess community sports agencies and decide which ones will benefit the most from Sported's services.
 
 
You will then provide a system that will across the region, provide capacity building services to those organisations in need - offering one-to-one support in areas such as governance, policies and procedures, applying for funding, business planning, financial management, monitoring and evaluation. You will build the profile and network of Sported in East Midlands and make sure its sports providers within the community and voluntary sector, have access to the resources they need to operate to the maximum of their potential.

Summer Camp USA is an opportunity for those who are passionate about sports to spend 9 weeks looking after children and supervising them during activity sessions.  

 

Spending a summer working on a children's summer camp in North America is a great way to explore a different lifestyle, enjoy lots of sunshine and gain valuable job skills.  BUNAC offers many and varied placement opportunities mainly on US, but also Canadian camps. Coaching opportunities include teaching mountain biking, pioneering, football, horse riding, swimming, sailing and golf or even arts and crafts, music or nature. You must be over 18 years old,  have experience of working with children and be enthusiastic!  

 

BUNAC individually places applicants on summer camps according to their preferences, skills and experience.  For the role of an instructor, applicants should be energetic, highly enthusiastic and skilled in the sport with experience of working with children in a leadership position.

 

The cost of participating on Summer Camp USA in 2010 is £359 which includes full support from BUNAC, a return flight to the USA, comprehensive insurance and free food / accommodation whilst on camp.  A minimum in-hand salary of $985 or $1215 (if over 21) is paid at the end of the summer, which most participants put towards post-camp travelling.  Anyone that is interested will need to book a regional interview and complete an online application form - both of which can be done by creating a free online account.
