Tell Us Your News

Sport Nottinghamshires primary purpose is to encourage, facilitate and support sport and physical activity within Nottinghamshire.  Getting more people, more active, more often sounds easy but in reality can be challenging.

If you represent a club, school, organisation, whether you are a competitor, volunteer or an official and you have a news story you think would be of interest the people of Nottinghamshire relating to Sport then we’d like to know about it.

Here are some categories your news may fall under:

Real News

An announcement, a press release, a human story, a celebration of success or similar. These will be posted on our website for all to see in the News section and in some cases will be tweeted and linked to our facebook page.

News should be related to Sport within Nottinghamshire, or competitors or teams from Nottinghamshire.  Alternatively announcements about sport in general which will have an impact in on people living in Nottinghamshire will also be considered newsworthy.

If at all possible please include High Res photos with your story.

Send this type of news by email to info@sportnottinghamshire.co.uk  or call 0115 848 3469

Events/Activities

If you are organising a special or sporting event/activity and would like help in promoting it, then this could also fall under the Real News category however it is more likely that we will list it under our events/activities section so that members of the public can search by date and location for events/activities that interest them.

If you'd like an event listed in this way then please send details of the event to info@sportnottinghamshire.co.uk.
