Those great guys at the National Ice Centre are keen to get all of you Shape Up Notts! members trying out ice skating. It's not only a great way to keep fit and healthy, but it's also lots of fun and a great activity for all the family! They're giving us 10 Family Skating Passes to giveaway. To be in with a chance of winning one of the passes, all you need to do is register a CO2 saving (i.e. walking or cycling for a journey that would otherwise have been made by car) between 10th August and 14th September. On Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th June 2010, npower brought their No Power Hour Roadshow to the Forest Recreation Ground, Nottingham to show children that spending an hour without power is fun! Featuring Britain's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan and former contestant and expert football freestyler John Farnworth, there were loads of footballing activities for kids of all levels. Visitors joined in with the mass warm up session and tested their goal shooting, dribbling, keepy uppies and ball control skills. There's nothing better than seeing everyone getting active which is why npower teamed up with the Shape Up Notts! Workplace Challenge to offer one lucky participant a pair of tickets to the England v Pakistan Test Match at Trent Bridge on Saturday 31st July.
