Welcome to the Ashfield School Games site.
After winning level 2 (district) competitions in various sports, the following schools represented Ashfield at the 2011-12 Nottinghamshire School Games winter and summer edition festivals:
Ashfield School, Bracken Hill School, Bagthorpe Primary School, Hillside Primary School, Kirkby College, Mapplewells Primary School, National CofE Academy, Orchard Primary School, Selston Arts and Community College and Quarrydale School.
Qualifying competitions for the Nottinghamshire School Games winter edition commence from the start of the new 2012-2013 academic term with qualifying competitions for the summer edition commencing from the spring term.
Sports that should feature in the 2012-2013 Nottinghamshire School Games are as follows: Sportshall Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Dodgeball, Inclusive Zone Basketball, Powerchair Football, Futsal, Panathlon Challenge, Trampolining, Athletics (Track and Field), Boccia, Cricket, Football, Netball, Rugby Union, Table Tennis, Tennis, Golf and Rounders.
Provisional competition dates for the winter and summer editions of the Nottinghamshire School Games 2012-2013 are as follows: 14th February and 5th July 2013.
