Youth Sport City

Welcome to the City of Nottingham School Games site.

After winning level 2 (district) competitions in various sports, the following schools represented the City at the 2011-12 Nottinghamshire School Games winter and summer edition festivals: 

Bluecoat Academy, Ellis Guilford School, Emmanuel School, Farnborough School, Fernwood School, Glenbrook Primary School, Nethergate School, Nottingham Academy, Nottingham Girls Academy, Nottingham Girls High School, Nottingham High School, Nottingham University Samworth Academy, Oakfield School, South Wilford Primary School, Whitemoor Primary School and Woodlands School.

Qualifying competitions for the Nottinghamshire School Games winter edition commence from the start of the new 2012-2013 academic term with qualifying competitions for the summer edition commencing from the spring term. 

Sports that should feature in the 2012-2013 Nottinghamshire School Games are as follows: Sportshall Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Dodgeball, Inclusive Zone Basketball, Powerchair Football, Futsal, Panathlon Challenge, Trampolining, Athletics (Track and Field), Boccia, Cricket, Football, Netball, Rugby Union, Table Tennis, Tennis, Golf and Rounders.

Provisional competition dates for the winter and summer editions of the Nottinghamshire School Games 2012-2013 are as follows: 14th February and 5th July 2013.
